3%.Com Properties is the trade name of a Franchise Group that empowers and enables attorneys and conveyancers to function as real estate brokers within their existing legal practices.  The result is that these (law firms) perform the full range of services involved in a property transaction.  That is, evaluating the property, listing the property, marketing and selling the property, negotiating the sale, tailoring custom agreements, arranging finance, transferring the property, to finally paying the seller the proceeds of the sale.  This service is truly unique as, it is provided exclusively by attorneys. The commission is a mere 3% plus VAT and it is fully comprehensive.  Minimum commission of R30 000 (plus VAT) applies.

WHAT IS 3%.COM PROPERTIES?

In May 2003, franchisor Maartens Heynike, started a product called 3%.Com Properties within his law practice where the functions of an estate agent and conveyancer are merged into one entity and the sales commission is a mere three percent, plus VAT, of the purchase price. Today, 3%.Com Properties® is a national franchise network of Attorneys and Conveyancers that specialise in marketing and selling immovable property legally and effectively.

Our slogan, “Lawyers selling property … it makes sense!”® comes from the idea of an all inclusive property service run by conveyancers, which is practical and logical. We then do everything from marketing your property to finally registering and paying the seller!

The operation provides a comprehensive service to property owners and buyers including the valuation, marketing, selling and transferring of residential and commercial property. 3%.Com Properties® also assists in arranging finance, registering bonds and securing all insurance needs, should this be required.

The 3%.Com Properties® initiative is unique in that only practicing Attorneys and Conveyancers are eligible for membership or ownership of a Franchise. As specialist property lawyers we are all fully capable and equipped to provide a comprehensive legal and conveyancing service on all your property transactions. Since we are Attorneys, there is no need to run to an Attorney for protection. Furthermore, each Attorney has a trustworthy reputation and existing clientele, and our transfer fees are based on the prescribed fees from each relevant Law Society, the governing body for attorneys.
